When I asked AP Sweeps to clean my chimney l just expected someone to
come to my home sweep my chimney and leave, I never expected the level
of service that I received.
Andrew arrived in a smart uniform and was scrupulously clean in his work,
using dust sheets from the front door to the fireplace in my lounge. and
when he finished the area was as clean and tidy as when he started.
However the service didn't stop there. Andrew also recommended the frequency
of sweeping my chimney (which varies depending upon the type of fuel used)
and left an informative leaflet with me. Most importantly he pointed out a
deficiency in the construction of my fireplace which allowed debris to collect
behind the firebricks potentially creating a chimney fire hazard or worse. He
was then able to come back and make an appropriate and very reasonably priced repair.
I have no hesitation in recommending AP sweeps not only for sweeping your chimney
but most importantly making sure that it is safe to use.
